Murphy’s Masters was initially started by Jim Murphy, an avid golfer, in 1989 as a way to get his friends together. After seeing a good turnout for several years, Jim and his wife Ruth realized that this reunion could be a great way to raise money for those less fortunate.

The Parkinson's Foundation makes life better for people with Parkinson's disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. In everything we do, we build on the energy, experience, and passion of our global Parkinson's community.
Parkinson’s is called a movement disorder because it affects movement, including tremors, slowness of movements and trouble walking. However, non-movement symptoms, such as trouble sleeping, depression and speech problems are extremely common and often more disabling than the symptoms you can see.
Parkinson’s Foundation is 501(c)3 non-profit (EIN # 13-1866796).
